These Terms govern your access to and use of Slade. If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must not access or use the Platform. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice, and your continued use of the Platform constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
Slade is a premium, quiet community platform designed for thinkers, makers, and creators. We provide threaded discussions, long-form publishing capabilities, and integrated workspaces (including Code, Canvas, and LaTeX tools) tailored to specific disciplines. The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time, including the availability of any feature, database, or content.
To access certain features of the Platform, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to keep your account information updated. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify Slade of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. Slade will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account information.

Your Content: You retain all ownership rights to the text, images, code, and other material you submit, post, or display on or through the Platform ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Slade a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the User Content in connection with the Platform and Slade's (and its successors' and affiliates') business.
Slade's Content: All rights, title, and interest in and to the Platform (excluding User Content), including all associated intellectual property rights, are and will remain the exclusive property of Slade and its licensors. You may not use, copy, reproduce, modify, translate, publish, broadcast, transmit, distribute, perform, upload, display, license, sell, or otherwise exploit for any purpose any content not owned by you without our prior written consent.
Certain features of Slade are offered on a subscription basis ("Pro Tier"). If you purchase a subscription, you agree to pay the applicable fees and taxes. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly). You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Unless otherwise required by law, subscription fees are non-refundable, and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods. We reserve the right to change our subscription plans or adjust pricing for our service in any manner and at any time as we may determine in our sole and absolute discretion.
We may terminate or suspend your access to all or part of the Platform immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach any of the terms or conditions of these Terms of Service. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform will immediately cease. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

IN NO EVENT SHALL SLADE, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, PARTNERS, AGENTS, SUPPLIERS, OR AFFILIATES, BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE PLATFORM.
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Slade is headquartered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
